Galentine's Day 2018: Planning the Perfect Party

by |

February is in full swing and that means the 14th is just around the corner! Regardless of if you have a date planned for Valentine’s Day, it’s important to celebrate the real holiday of February, Galentine’s Day! Though it might not be an official U.S holiday (yet), February 13th was coined Galentine's Day by Leslie Knope from the popular television show Parks & Rec in 2010 and has since been celebrated by women year after year. Galentine’s Day is a day set apart to celebrate your best girl friends and appreciate the joys of female friendship.

Set up a Bluetooth speaker at the center of your party and keep music at a loud enough level to be heard, but not overwhelm the conversation. For another fun touch you can create a simple photo booth with a sheet on a wall and a few fun props. Add a Polaroid camera and encourage guests to snap photos for an instant memory.
